ROE Retreats

We believe spiritual formation, living from abiding rest + establishing the rhythms of Jesus are essential for every believer. Retreats are a way to slip away from the noise, demands + even fruitful activities of life, in order to re-engage our hearts, commune in a deeper way with the Father, and be built up in what He has next.

Jesus retreated regularly — and we should do the same.

When pressing in about what the heartbeat of our retreats are, the Lord showed us honey slowly coming out of a jar. We must learn to linger — growing in our capacity to sit with Him long enough to receive the thick, healing, restorative honey of heaven that He longs to pour out over us.

Our retreats have different emphases but will always center around communing at the table of the Lord.

We’re actively going after the balance of solitude + being established in community — providing space for connecting with others around meals or other gathering times while implementing ample time to get away with Jesus. We love to see hearts awakened to their love language with the Lord, whether that’s out walking the land, sitting by the pond, journaling in a bedroom, creating on a canvas, or facedown during musical worship.

”…He leads me beside the still and restful waters. He refreshes and restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake… You prepare a table before me in the presence of me enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.” Psalm 23:2-3;4

FEBRUARY 16th + 17th 2022

Winter Women’s Retreat

We’re so excited to gather together as women + remove distractions as we find the simplicity of living surrendered to the One who is faithful in every season.
We feel + hear the call of Jesus back to the place of simple, first love devotion.
Let’s partner with Him to remove the weights, barriers + heaviness as we linger in His presence — He has clarity for us all.
Our desire is that we would all leave with a “lighter load” as we exchange lies for Truth and grow in gratitude and greater intimacy with Him.

He knows what you need in every season + we truly believe He is enough.

FAQ

1. what are the sleeping arrangements?

There are 5 bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms have 2 bunk beds— with one a double bed on the bottom of one bunk and single beds for the other lower bunk and top bunks. If you are hoping to attend with a friend/family member, please mark that on your application so we can arrange sleeping accommodations accordingly. There are two separate shower rooms and two separate bathrooms in the same hallway as the bedrooms.

2. Are there options for food allergies?

Yes. We will do our best to provide additional options. Please let us know your specific food restrictions/allergies or feel free to bring your own.

3. Will there be space to process and be alone with Jesus?

Yes. We are intentionally creating a schedule that will allow for both time together in worship, teaching, around the table, and to individually seek the Lord, process + refuel on our own. We want each person to have the ability to pursue Him in a way that is life-giving.

4. Are children allowed?

Babies and infants (non-mobile kiddos) are welcome during the days. There is no childcare provided for the retreat. No children will be allowed for overnight accommodations to respect the other women attending the retreat.
